We're Cecile and Stasia, co-directors of The Sticky Studio - Welcome! We’re so thrilled to have you here and to share our story of how it all began…

Our journey started back in 2021 at a local baby group. We quickly bonded over the beauty and mayhem of new parenthood in a lively and loving environment. Fast forward 2 years, and in a lucky coincidence, we both welcomed our second babies into the world just months apart.

As our parenting adventures continued and friendship grew, we discovered a shared love of art and crafts with our children. We saw firsthand the joy it inspired in our little ones and the powerful early learning benefits art brings – from developing fine motor skills, to imagination and self-expression.  These small moments of messy magic were all leading up to one big idea…

With Stasia’s career in children's television and Cecile’s background in interior design, creativity and child focused experiences have always been at the heart of what we do.  And so it was, in the midst of loud soft plays and chilly playgrounds - between snack breaks and chai lattes – The Sticky Studio was born!  

Together we dreamed of creating a space where children (and adults!) could explore freely, get marvellously messy and unleash their inner artist without parents having to face that daunting clean-up at home!  But The Sticky Studio is more than just art.  It’s more than just paint and glue… it’s a place to connect, it’s a community.  Just like that early baby group was for us, we want The Sticky Studio to be the place where parents can chat, laugh and feel supported in the colourful chaos of raising a little one.  These early memories will last a lifetime, and what better backdrop to make them than in a room full of vibrant characters and artful adventures!
